I'm nearly at your resting place

Tears before bedtime
my heart broke in two,
the day you went away,
I prayed and prayed,
but you couldn't stay.
I asked what I did,
that could be so wrong,
I wanted you with me,
for so very long.
My eyes became red,
as they flooded with tears,
my heart became heavy,
as I faced up to my fears.
I tried and I tried,
to keep you from harm,
and with a lump in my throat,
tried to remain calm.
I looked down at you,
my precious little “bean”
you were the most beautiful Angel,
that I'd ever seen.
They wrapped you with blankets,
and I held you close,
your hand in my hand,
as I tickled your toes.
And even through all the tears I cried,
holding you,
looking at you,
my heart filled with pride.
Although you were perfect,
in every single way,
I know god had a special reason,
to take you away.
I miss you my princess,
our time wasn't long,
but what time we had together,
filled my heart with a song.
And you are an Angel now,
in heaven your free,
my hearts locked with sadness,
but you hold a key.

I miss you so much it hurts every second and its so hard not having you here with me I feel like my heart has been ripped out and no matter how much i think of you write to you or cry for you it will never be enough I count the days till I can see you again you are my heart, my soul, my love, my life and you will always be my beautiful little angel.

please play in heaven nicley darling. if mummy can be as brave without you here as you were in our fight then maybe i can carry on. you are so beautifull, so brave and full of fun. never forget how special you are. please come and lay with mummy and daddy every night.
