god decided to borrow you for his angel at 22 weeks and 6 days, and you and me tried didn't we baby, we tried to make you stay but you got tired, mummy knew you were so tired so you went to sleep forever.

I heard you crying yesterday,
And felt your heart-sent love.
So I’m sending you this message
Now, from Heaven up above.
You’re wondering if I’ll celebrate
My Birthday (way up here).
I know you’re missing me today
I feel your essence near.
God planned a special day for me,
He told me with a wink.
He’d ordered me a special cake
(It’s Angel food, I think).
Balloons will fill the streets for me,
They float up through the clouds.
And we have lots of friends up here
That make us laugh out loud.
There is a Birthday carousel,
Jewelled horses ride the wind,
With music playing, oh so sweet…
The magic never ends.
I’ve made so many friends, you see
We laugh and play and sing.
We ride our bikes and play jump rope
And sleep in Angel’s wings.
We’ll have our cake and ice cream
And open gifts - SURPRISE!
But we don’t blow out our candles here

Tears before bedtime
my heart broke in two,
the day you went away,
I prayed and prayed,
but you couldn't stay.
I asked what I did,
that could be so wrong,
I wanted you with me,
for so very long.
My eyes became red,
as they flooded with tears,
my heart became heavy,
as I faced up to my fears.
I tried and I tried,
to keep you from harm,
and with a lump in my throat,
tried to remain calm.
I looked down at you,
my precious little “bean”
you were the most beautiful Angel,
that I'd ever seen.
They wrapped you with blankets,
and I held you close,
your hand in my hand,
as I tickled your toes.
And even through all the tears I cried,
holding you,
looking at you,
my heart filled with pride.
Although you were perfect,
in every single way,
I know god had a special reason,
to take you away.
I miss you my princess,
our time wasn't long,
but what time we had together,
filled my heart with a song.
And you are an Angel now,
in heaven your free,
my hearts locked with sadness,
but you hold a key.
